Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins :

1.. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size..
2.. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime..
3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumours.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6.. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
WHAT CANCER CELLS FEED ON:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk, cancer cells are being starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties.Water- best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

Five Different Sessions

As with any cleansing modality, versatility is extremely important. OUR FEDERAL BUDGET 2009

This new Federal budget is nothing but a big joke it is very obvious that the current federal government is trying to buy more time to try to cover up their numerous political mistakes thus far in their term of government.
In this “New Budget” there is absolutely nothing for the following the elderly, disabled, our colleges and university students, the homeless, the abusive women and children, the people living in poverty,low income families, The thousands of middle-class income families that are being affected by the current economy and this recession that we have been in for some time.
By my premonitions it certainly will get worse before they get its better, it is unfortunate for me making this statement but it is true the writing is on the wall and every day when we listen to the radio and/or look at the television there is some type of new disturbance and another situation of concern.

When the Federal elections were upon us we the people have the opportunity of making a stance for change but for whatever reason the numbers at the election and polls across Ontario in Canada give us our current federal government.

The only thing about this new budget for 2009 it helps our current government and politicians as well as the big corporations, well the regular working peons work twice as hard for their hard earned dollar. In some cases some of the families that are fortunate enough have two paychecks coming in to one household but even so in most cases that is not enough, to make ends meet to the next paycheck.

The vast majority of Ontarians who are receiving some type of Social Service assistance, government assistance Ontario Disability Support Program (O.D.S.P.) Ontario Works or any other current structure system assistance in most cases is not enough because of inflation and the high cost of putting food on the table, especially due to the numerous layoffs, cutbacks, some corporate downsizing and the current value of our Canadian dollar.

Years ago our parents used to help their children through life but in today's world it is the children help in the parents and there are so-called golden years from month to month living expenses.

If only people could see that we are in a real mess and it is time for the people to come forth and stand at the plate and take some responsibility and make sure our elected officials are doing their job on the behalf of the people because we as people have the right and should be looked after and a proper fashion because as I grew up from a young boy I kept hearing that our country is the land of the free and I would like the current government officials show me where it is free today.

The Ontarians people and other people across Canada can make a significant change I am including a couple of link's that can make a significant change if there are any Ontarians and Canadians who are willing to get their hands dirty and to do something for themselves and their families.

Dad pledges hunger strike in fight for autistic children

TORONTO -- A father who started a liquids-only hunger strike 10 days ago says he won't give up his protest until his 15-year-old son, and all autistic children, get the treatment needed to live a fuller life.
Stephan Marinoiu said his mortgage payment comes due today and he's $400 short, but he'll move his family onto the front lawn of Queen's Park if necessary to secure Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) for his son Simon.
"Children are our riches; they're our gold," said Marinoiu, a father of three.
NDP MPP Andrea Horwath said record numbers of children are on the waiting list for provincially-funded autism services, despite the assurances of Dalton McGuinty's government more is being done.
"Stephan really is the face of parental anguish and sheer frustration here in Ontario."


Bruce McIntosh of the Ontario Autism Coalition said parents are often put under enormous financial pressure to provide IBI out of pocket -- $20,000 a year for a 20-hour-a-week program and up to $70,000 a year for a full-time program -- and many can't afford it.
Marinoiu said his son has never made it off the waiting list for services and now, without support, he poses an increasing physical threat to his family.
McIntosh said his organization conducted an on-line poll of families with autistic children and found 47 per cent had liquidated assets, 62 per cent had borrowed money, 11 per cent received charity and 4.2 per cent had declared bankruptcy.
"And so this premier and these ministers, who have declared a war on poverty, are driving the families of children with autism into bankruptcy at 21 times the rate of the general population," McIntosh said. "And that, my friend, is failure."
There are more than 1,000 children on the waiting list today compared to fewer than 80 in 2003, McIntosh said
In the legislature yesterday, Horwath challenged Children and Youth Services Minister Deb Matthews to clear the backlog for autism services.
"Why has the McGuinty government driven a desperate parent to stage a hunger strike over the lack of publicly funded treatment for children with autism?" Horwath asked.
Matthews said she has twice met with Marinoiu in the last few days and her ministry staff are working hard to provide his family with appropriate support.
"I will tell you what I told Mr. Marinoiu, and that is this: we are working as hard as we can," Matthews said. "I urge him to stop his hunger strike, to go back to his family."
The minister said her government has more than tripled funding for IBI. The budget has swelled from about $500,000 just 10 years ago to more than $150 million.
